for the gay priest because he was sincere and had spent his life hurting no one. Many priests have abused girls; many nuns abused boys. Homosexuality is not a synonym for pedophilia.
Re “Vatican to gays: Grow up!” (op-ed by Daniel A. Helminiak, Dec. 9):
Me to Vatican: Grow up! Haven’t you learned anything from that little incident with Galileo?
Daniel Helminiak should grow up. Please focus your childish minds toward creating a culture for gays where they would stop whining and trying to destroy a beautiful religion. He offends me and my beliefs. Can’t deal with diversity, can he?
