the statewide gay group Equality Maryland and the National Black Justice Coalition include profiles of Tribble and her domestic partner, Robin Dickerson, raising the couples’ children in Prince George’s County, where Tribble got involved with the P.G. school system’s Parent-Teachers Association.
Tribble said those web sites were out of date concerning her residence. She said she and her son now live in Southeast Washington, with her son attending a city charter school. She said Dickerson continues to reside in P.G. County, where her children attend school.
Dan Furmansky, executive director of Equality Maryland, said Tribble remains a member of the group’s board of directors. He said she is highly knowledgeable on both D.C. and Maryland politics, calling her a highly skilled activist who would make a “great” director of the D.C. gay affairs office.
“There are few people I hold in higher esteem than Khadijah Tribble,” Furmansky said.
