Bill
Gillespie,
who
had
lived
in
Wilton
Manors,
Fla.,
and
Washington,
died
Oct.
20
of
complications
from
liver
failure,
according
to
his
partner.
He
was
62.
Gillespie
renovated
and
restored
homes
in
Baltimore,
Washington,
Lewes,
Del.,
and
Wilton
Manors,
Fla.,
and
was
employed
by
IBM
for
more
than
20
years
in
Baltimore
and
Washington.
His
crowning
achievement
was
the
restoration
of
the
120-year-old
“Theodora
Kane
House”
in
Lewes
Del.,
once
owned
by
the
20th
Century
Washington
artist.
Gillespie
was
well
known
among
his
friends
for
his
culinary
and
entertaining
skills
who
recall
his
spur-of-the-moment
dinner
parties
and
his
warm
disposition.
He
is
survived
by
his
partner
of
30
years,
Roger
France.
