Hoadley said a continued race could prompt Stonewall to host additional forums for gay voters.

“We would definitely do this in Pennsylvania,” he said. “We would love to work with our local chapters there.”

580,000? Who'd a thunk it. Where were these half a million people the last gubernatorial race in the Lone Star State? After Gov. Perry said, "If Gay people in Texas want equal rights, they can move," looks like that size of a voting bloc would've moved him out of the mansion.

"'We were surprised by the strong interest of the GLBT community not only in participating in the presidential selection process, but participating as openly GLBT individuals,' Rouse said." Well, Matt, I think you mobilized a lot of them when HRC started backing Hillary and The Advocate threw her on their cover early on as if no one else was in the race. People weren't going to let her steamroll her way into the nomination while promising us nothing in hopes of getting our "lesser-of-two-evils" votes in November. I know she has the same initials as your org, but come on.

Revelations re Obama refusing Ohio gay paper interview while Sen. Clinton agreed. "[Obama's nat. comm. dir.] said to me, "Let me tell you how this works. I talk and you write down what I say." "I'll write down what you say when you answer the question," I responded, adding that "I'm no campaign's stenographer." Gibbs actually took the pen and pad out of my hands and wrote his own answer!...It is also apparent that Obama sees his obligation to the LGBT community as fulfilled since his speech at Ebenezer Baptist Church...." Some facts, InXanadu2: "The Advocate" has said that they’d asked the top three Dems for interviews for months. Sen. Clinton simply said yes first. Edwards dropped out before responding, and Obama only agreed weeks AFTER Sen. Clinton had and solely in relation to “damage control” over McClurkingate. Further, in that interview he nakedly lied when he said that he was a "chief cosponsor" of and had "passed" the Illinois LGBT rights bill. Though he'd sponsored earlier versions he was apparently too busy campaigning for US Senate to sponsor that one and was gone by the time it was voted on.

Well, we LGBT always stand in one line. "We do support each other to get more rights just as equal as others.." said on the forum of http://www.bimingle.com Anyway, we will get and learn more from it. Hope the world is beautiful for LGBT too.
