When are we going to spell out exactly how to "address homophobia... in our society"? Prime time shows with plot lines showing how homophobia leads kids just discovering they are gay to feel ashamed and cuts them off from all previous sources of social support so that they seek out strangers in the dark, where their low self esteem reduces the chances they'll negotiate for safe sex. And how homophobia makes MSM conceal how much risk they're passing on to female sex partners. Equal rights under the law. Speeches by the president, surgeon general, ministers, teachers. To start.
