of
a
lesbian
youth
reported
to
the
GLLU
on
Aug.
13
that
she
feared
her
daughter
was
in
an
abusive
relationship.
Police
contacted
the
youth
and
offered
resources
and
guidance.
•
An
anonymous
caller
reported
to
the
GLLU
on
Aug
14
that
he
had
information
related
to
the
murder
of
an
individual.
•
Police
were
called
Aug.
15
shortly
after
midnight
to
the
1200
block
of
Alabama
Avenue,
S.E.,
to
respond
to
an
armed
threat.
Police
found
an
uninjured
woman
in
the
area
and
were
told
that
her
ex-girlfriend
and
that
woman’s
current
girlfriend
had
threatened
her.
Police
found
the
suspects
in
a
vehicle
nearby
and
arrested
one
person.
A
handgun
was
recovered.
•
A
transgender
woman
reported
to
the
GLLU
on
Aug.
15
at
10:30
a.m.
that
she
was
the
victim
of
a
dog
attack
near
the
intersection
of
17th
Street
and
Rosedale
Street,
N.E.
The
woman
told
police
that
a
dog
that
had
escaped
from
its
yard
attacked
her
and
her
own
dogs.
Police
captured
and
quarantined
the
dog
and
advised
the
woman
to
file
a
“dangerous
dog
complaint.”

Police
were
called
Aug.
15
at
11
p.m.
to
a
restaurant
along
the
1400
block
of
P
Street,
N.W.,
to
respond
to
reports
of
an
unconscious
man.
Other
emergency
personnel
also
responded.
The
man
was
taken
to
a
local
hospital
and
released
shortly
after
his
arrival.
Police
said
drugs
were
a
factor
in
the
incident.
•
Police
were
requested
Aug.
15
to
aide
an
investigation
being
conducted
by
the
Joint
Fugitive
Task
Force
of
the
U.S.
Marshall’s
Service.
Members
of
the
GLLU
are
assisting
attempts
to
locate
a
gay
man
who
previously
lived
in
the
Washington
area.
Police
did
not
release
the
name
of
the
man,
saying
doing
so
might
jeopardize
the
investigation.
•
Police
were
called
Aug.
17
at
2
a.m.
to
a
business
along
the
1500
block
of
17th
Street,
N.W.,
to
respond
to
reports
of
a
disorderly
customer.
Police
were
told
that
a
customer’s
credit
card
had
accidentally
been
given
to
another
customer.
Police
reported
the
card
as
lost
and
the
customer
cancelled
the
card.
•
Police
were
called
Aug.
18
during
early
morning
hours
to
the
3600
block
of
22nd
Street,
S.E.,
to
respond
to
reports
of
a
shooting.
Police
found
a
woman
with
an
apparent
gunshot
wound.
She
was
taken
to
a
local
hospital
and
pronounced
dead
by
medical
staff.
Later
that
morning,
the
GLLU
was
notified
and
responded
to
the
scene,
but
was
told
by
detectives
from
the
Criminal
Investigations
Division’s
Homicide
&
Sex
Offense
Branch
that
the
assistance
was
not
needed.
