Attorney Sheri Abrams of Fairfax, Va., has been named a member of Virginia’s Legal Elite for 2009. Abrams, a lesbian, will be listed with the other honorees in an upcoming issue of Virginia Business magazine.
Ken Magill and Lawrence Tan Sunday, owners of Larry’s Lounge and Straits of Malaya restaurant, will celebrate their 25 years together Nov. 1 at the restaurant. To attend the event, an RSVP to LarrysLoungeDC@gmail.com is requested.
Mautner Project: The National Lesbian Health Organization is planning its 20th anniversary gala for March 20. Tickets, priced at $180 each before Nov. 15, are available through www.mautnerproject.org.
