Baltimore Pride slated for next weekend
Baltimore Pride is next weekend kicking off with a cocktail party on June 19 at Gertrude’s at the Baltimore Museum of Art at 8 p.m. featuring open bar, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.
On Saturday, the Pride parade begins at 4 p.m., followed by a block party from 6 to 10 p.m. On Sunday, the Pride festival begins at noon at Druid Hill Park and goes until 6 p.m. Gay acts Tom Goss and Wicked Jezebel will perform.

Latino Pride tonight
The Latino LGBT History Project presents DC Latino Pride tonight from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Equality Room at Human Rights Campaign at 1640 Rhode Island Ave, N.W.

Stonewall exhibit on display at Smithsonian
An exhibit of vintage gay memorabilia from the ’50s through the ’00s is on display now at the Smithsonian Museum of American History to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
Among the items included are ads from “Queer as Folk,” copies of ONE Magazine from the ’50s and ’60s, memorabilia from the Shamrock Bar Collection, vintage AIDS pamphlets, ads for various Gay Men’s Chorus concerts from different cities and much more.

Girl in a Coma come to D.C. Tuesday
Girl in a Coma, a two-thirds lesbian band from San Antonio, play D.C.’s the Red & the Black Tavern (1212 H Street, N.E.) on Tuesday.
The band’s 2007 debut album “Both Before I’m Gone” was a critical hit and had decent showings on the Billboard chart and on iTunes. They’re signed with Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records label and toured on Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors” tour last year. Both Phanie Diaz, the band’s drummer, and Jenn Alva, who plays bass, are lesbians. Their new album “Trio B.C.” dropped this month.
